TIPS FOR USE:

• Test a small area before applying to all surfaces.
• Avoid prolonged contact with any surface; always rinse thoroughly with cold water after two minutes.
• CLR is septic safe and contains no phosphates, bleach or ammonia.
• CLR is non abrasive.
• Always use CLR in a well-ventilated area.
• Always stand on a non-slip surface while cleaning.
• Wear household rubber gloves when using CLR.
• Do not use CLR on wood, clothing, wallpaper, carpeting, marble, terrazzo, natural stone, colored grout, painted or metallic glazed surfaces, plastic laminates, Formica or aluminum.
• CLR is corrosive if left on too long.
• Never reuse bottle.
• Never mix with other household cleaners or bleach.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

TO CLEAN TUBS, TOILET BOWLS, SINKS, PORCELAIN, CEMENT, STUCCO, BRICK and VINYL SIDING: Mix equal amounts of CLR and warm water. Apply directly to calcium, lime or rust stain with brush, cloth or sponge. Rinse promptly with cold, clean water. If stain does not disappear, use CLR full strength, wipe and rinse promptly with cold, clean water.

COFFEE MAKERS: Mix 1 part CLR to 8 parts water. Run through automatic machine as if making coffee. Rinse thoroughly by running 2 full pots of cold, clean water through a complete cycle. Do not use CLR in coffee makers that hold water permanently.

COFFEE POTS, PANS and TEA KETTLES: Pour enough CLR to cover bottom. Swish around in pot or pan. Add 1 cup of hot water, allow mixture to soak for 2 minutes and thoroughly rinse with cold, clean water.

DISHWASHERS and WASHING MACHINES: Run empty machine without detergent up to main wash cycle. Stop machine and add one-half cup CLR. Finish cycle. Run one additional full cycle (wash and rinse) with water only to rinse machine fully.

SHOWER HEADS: Mix equal amounts of CLR and hot water. Submerge shower head and soak for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cold, clean water. Repeat process if necessary.

HUMIDIFIERS: Pour enough CLR into humidifier to cover the bottom and use brush or sponge to wipe away stains. Add hot water and allow to soak until thoroughly clean. Rinse thoroughly with cold, clean water.

IMPORTANT Wear household gloves. Use in well-ventilated area. Always stand on a non-slip surface for all cleaning jobs.

DO NOT USE CLR on natural stone or marble, terrazzo, colored grout, painted or metallic glazed surfaces, plastic laminates, Formica, aluminum, steam irons, leaded crystal, refinished tubs or any damaged or cracked surface. May etch older sinks, tubs, and tiles. CLR may return older cement to its original white appearance. CLR is corrosive. Avoid contact with wood, clothing, wallpaper and carpeting. Some laminated surfaces (counter tops) are coated with a synthetic surface which may be affected by rust removers; clean spills immediately. ALWAYS TEST ALL SURFACES IN A SMALL HIDDEN AREA BEFORE USE. Always avoid prolonged contact with any surface. After 2 minutes, rinse promptly and thoroughly with cold, clean water.
